Make a film. Win $100!
Bike Shorts is a semi-regular film screening of bike-related short films. The only limitations on your submission is that it has to have something to do with a bike, and should be less than 5 minutes long. You can send us your tricks videos, race videos, abstract art pieces, films about learning how to ride a bike when you were a kid, animations, documentaries, romantic comedies, slasher flicks... be creative! The best film of the night wins $100!
So get out there, strap your camera to your head, and make some movies. (You don't really have to strap a camera to your head - that could be dangerous. So we don't condone it unless you really know what you're doing).
Oh, and just so you know: the winner is determined solely by the biased opinion of the audience, so bring your friends! Any more questions, check out our Submissions page.
• Your work must be about bikes, however tangentially.
• Nothing over 5 minutes. Anything longer is subject to the discretion of the Bike Shorts board of directors. (If it's longer, it's got to be awesome.)
That's pretty much it. For more details, see our submissions page.
September 20th at Public Assembly: 70 N. 6th St., Brooklyn.
